Flora Hiperspectral

The FLORA (HIPERSPECTRAL) satellite, scheduled to launch in 2016, is a Brazilian / USA earth observation satellite. It will produce hyperspectral surface images of comparable resolution to Landsat satelites.[1]

Instruments

High spectral resolution camera (200 bands between 400 and 2500 nm along a 150km swat. Spatial resolution is 30 meters, with 14 bits quantization.
